ORGANIZER: Department of Nutrition

The Department of Nutrition is in the business preparing health care professionals for the 21st century in the area of nutrition. Our mission is threefold: academics, research and service. We provide our students with the most current information on nutrition, with an emphasis on vegetarian nutrition, on public policy issues, management, and behavioral science, especially as it relates to diet. The department programs lead to the Master of Public Health (MPH) and the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degrees. The department also offers the Master of Science (MS) degree in nutrition.

HOST: Loma Linda University

Loma Linda University is a Seventh-day Adventist educational health-sciences institution with 3,000 students located in Southern California. Seven schools and the Faculty of Religion and Faculty of Graduate Studies comprise the University organization. We encourage personal and professional growth through integrated development of the intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of each member of the university community and those we serve.
