ORGANIZER: Department of Nutrition

The School of Public Health's Department of Nutrition is in the business of preparing health care professionals for 21st century nutrition. Our mission is threefold: academics, research and service. We provide our students with the most current information on nutrition, with an emphasis on vegetarian nutrition, on public policy issues, management, and behavioral science, especially as it relates to diet. The department programs lead to the Master of Public Health (MPH), (Masr of Science (MS)), and the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degrees.

HOST: Loma Linda University

Located in Southern California,Loma Linda University is a Seventh-day Adventist educational health-sciences institution with 4,266 students. Seven schools and the Faculty of Religion and Faculty of Graduate Studies comprise the University organization. We encourage personal and professional growth through integrated development of the intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of each member of the university community and those we serve.
